Not Seger, but still Wilde.

Not Seger, but still Wilde.

Quick update for today: I’ve got yard work calling my name. Winter is on the horizon, and the mower is waiting.

But before I head out, I want to share something I’m genuinely excited about. On October 1st, CLW’s album officially drops on Spotify!

For the past week, I’ve been streaming the whole album non-stop over on Rumble. If you want to listen right now, here’s the link:

I’ve heard it more times than I can count at this point, and if I had to sum it up in one sentence:

It’s pretty cool… but it ain’t no Seger.

That might sound like I’m knocking it, but I’m not. This is my very first musical release… it’s performed with AI, and this year has been a rough one. Of course there’s room for improvement—that’s part of the journey.

Here’s the truth: I love music. (Who doesn’t?) It’s one of the best ways to channel emotion and live in a moment. I honestly think we’re all musicians on some level, because at some point we’ve all belted out a favorite song in the car. Am I right?

What I like most about this album is the range of emotion it captures—some tracks are energetic, some are somber. Sure, I would’ve loved to keep it all upbeat, but life isn’t always upbeat. This reflects that.

Funny thing is… I’m not even a huge country music person. If I had to rank genres, country would sit somewhere near the bottom—classic jazz, swing, rock, techno/EDM are more my speed. Yet… I like this album. Even though it’s no Seger, I’m proud of it.

I’m grateful I was able to make it, and I’m even more grateful I get to share it with you. If you’ve got the time, I think it’s worth checking out.
