Link Omega Origins
This week I made the very first teaser video for Link Omega.
Picture this: you’re floating in space, time starts to warp, and a lone figure stands—shadows stretching like they’ve got somewhere important to be. Just when you think you’re safe—bam! The universe cracks wide open, and suddenly you’re staring into the eyes of Tripmaster 3000—a character I’ve been sculpting for half a year, inspired by my real-life wolfdog, Trip.
Rather than have me keep rambling, just watch it for yourself! 🙂
Now, before anyone panics: no, the actual game isn’t going to look like this. Link Omega is a platformer, so the teaser is more “setting the vibe” than “press start.” Think of it like a movie trailer for the backstory the game is built on.
I’ve been using generative AI to help paint those story beats, and it’s been an absolute blast bringing the world to life.
(Side note: if you ever need anything built using AI—for music, your business, or whatever—reach out. I’d love to help!)
The plan is simple: this is just the first in a short teaser series rolling out over the next few months. Each one will peel back another layer of the Link Omega universe, introducing the crew and hinting at the weight they’re carrying. The lore is fun to tease out, and I can’t wait for you to start connecting the dots.
On the practical side, the next big step is locking in some actual gameplay footage so we can finally launch the Steam page. That’s when things start to feel real. If you want to come along for the ride—and trust me, it’s going to be wild (or should I say Wilde)—make sure to subscribe to the YouTube channel so you don’t miss the next drop.
And speaking of Wilde… Wilde Times is officially hitting Spotify this week. It’s the debut album from Christina Lynn Wilde (the AI outlaw-country-pop superstar based on my partner-in-crime), and it’s got a supernatural streak baked right in. Perfect listening material for plotting heroic journeys—or something.
Do yourself a favor: hit save, blast it loud, and if you like it (I think you will), toss it in your playlists. It really helps more than you’d think.
So yeah… one teaser down, a mountain of chaos ahead. But that’s the fun of it, right?
Thanks for riding along. I’ll see you in the next one.
